I actually stopped here and didn’t get anything when I was in York in April for my spinning class.

We have the week off and noticed Ewe and Me was a stop on Jody Long’s Cables Across America Tour and decided to go!

Jody Long told us about growing up in England where his grandmother, a designer who made bespoke clothes for the Queen taught him how to knit. Now he has a ton of books out and his own line of yarn.

We got to see samples of his work and the yarn. My husband ordered his book of menswear which looks really fun. I got some yarn in a colorway I couldn’t find online. It’s pink and orange and coincidentally, I’m wearing my only pink and orange dress today and everyone commented!

Twins! Anyway, it’s a cute store with a lot of selection especially of high end yarns. Very good turn out for an event especially for one at 2 pm on a Tuesday in pretty deserted downtown York!
