Tour de Fleece Day 5: Plying

I started the day spinning the second 3 oz bag of roving and plying yesterday’s and today’s singles together.

It was super sunny so I put the other yarn I wet finished yesterday back outside to fully dry and then wet finished what I did today.

I brought that all in and put out the new batch. Not a cloud in the sky. Super hot. Then suddenly it was pouring! I had to run out and get today’s yarn and bring it in! I was soaked, the wool was soaked. It reminded me of the rain we’d get when we were on vacation in the Caribbean. Now it’s hanging in the bathroom. Maybe it will be sunny tomorrow? It takes forever to dry inside.

My new bobbins arrived so I waxed them and a part I had missed when I waxed my jumbo flyer. I used feed and wax which (I think) is what I used when I waxed the wheel for the first time. It doesn’t really smell which is nice.
