Iris Shawl #2

I did end up making another Iris shawl in the other colorway—Juniper Moon Farm Cumulous Blackberry and variegated Nautical Twilight.

I learned from the last one and started from the color side I liked the most and I ended up not using any of the very end which was a pukey yellow pink*. My husband jokingly calls it the goth version. I like it a lot, I love jewel tones. I think you can see the gradient a little better with this one even though the contrast isn’t as stark on the narrower stripes.

It was quick to make (super easy pattern!) but it rained basically none stop for weeks so I just able to wash and lay it outside to dry.

*I did use the scraps to make a few 2×2 inch pin loom squares like I do all scraps long enough.
