I realized I forgot to post about the class I took at Red Stone Glen in late February! It was about weaving with basically scraps. Zanshi is weaving with leftover warps tied together and sakiori is weaving with soft scraps of fabric.

My guild helped out with the scrap warp and I bought a big lot of silk and fake silk scarves on eBay to use as weft.

It was very cold but they had fires going near where the looms were set up. Luckily it only snowed a little bit, I was worried about getting trapped in Pennsylvania.

It was a three day class which was a little challenging physically! It was basically a full work day each day which is hard on those benches!

I did complete two scarves/runners!
