I find knitting patterns where they spell out row 1-2 and then 3-4 are both “repeat row 2” and then it tells you to repeat rows 1-4 ten times annoying. Surely there is a better way to write that?

Anyway, the Sophie Hood was easy knit. I made it using Purl Soho Hedgerow in Fuchsia Rose. The color is really pretty and looks nice knitted up. I have a bunch left because I had bought it on sale. It wasn’t as soft as I had hoped but not bad.

I’m not sure about wearing it, it doesn’t look quite as glamorous on me as it does others, I have a bit of a “queueing for cabbages” in the bitter winter look in it.
