I really enjoyed the yarn and learning the new stitch to make the flower/shell motif but as I’ve suspected, I really didn’t enjoy making something so big!

I kept putting off knitting it after I hit around 300 stitches and finally decided to bind it off. It was heavy and slippery to work with and honestly I think the full size would have been too heavy and sloppy to actually ever wear.

The color differences are fairly subtle in real life but I think it’s cute.

I am all for projects not being perfect and making what actually is fun and makes sense.

Now I have a good chunk of yarn leftover for something else.

I think I’d be okay knitting something fairly long but narrower. I did not like those long rows and it made me feel like I had to devote a lot of time to knitting it whenever I picked it up vs being able to just do a little at a time.
