The first batch of yarn I made during Tour de Fleece I let dry on our table outdoors.
For this second batch, I hung it on this drying rack I bought for weaving. It has little divots where you can hang stuff.

It was very hot yesterday so I thought it might dry more quickly hanging up than laying flat on the table which is in an area that gets shady pretty early in the day.
It seemed to be going okay and I checked on it a few times but when I went to bring it in, it had knocked over and yarn was all over the ground and still damp.
It had only been an hour since I checked on it. I don’t know what happened. Maybe the dogs bumped it? They had just gone outside.
I think the yarn is okay and I don’t think our beagle stole any (the whole other side of the rack was also full of yarn) but I’m annoyed. Luckily it was mostly dry so it didn’t pick up much from the dirt but still.
Ideally we’d have space to dry it inside but we barely have space for anything here.
I don’t know what I’m going to do next time. Normally I don’t think I’d have so much yarn at once to dry so that might be easier.
