While I was taking the class at Peters Valley I went to a fiber farm near my motel. They had all sorts of animals there from alpacas to yaks!

I got this giant popcorn bag of fiber.

It’s alpaca and sari silk. I spun it all today. I did one thick pink/purple and then two thinner. One with yellow and green and one with the reddish and blue.

Here it is fresh from the bobbin.

I have a real backlog of yarn to set and let dry. It’s been so rainy and humid I can’t leave it outside and it doesn’t dry well indoors.

I really like spinning alpaca!
