One of my goals for my drive up to my workshop this week was hit up some yarn stores. I came across Winterberries and thought it looked good but no where near where I would be.

But then I ended up taking a different route and after driving up this long rural road for ages I saw this porch and it looked so familiar. I had just seen it on their social media/website. I did a quick u-turn and went in. What good luck!

They had a cute little free fiber library.

It was a really cute shop and as strange as it sounds to say it, the colors were all really aligned to my taste. So many places are selling almost all this washed out old desert neutrals and this place had some nice deeper colors and jewel tones. I got some fiber to spin and some locks in a similar color.

When I checked out she told me about a alpaca farm near where I was going and I was able to go there today too and get some more fiber!
